Natural Bamboo Fiber Mat Reinforced Thermoplastics

BMT refers to Natural Bamboo Fiber Mat Reinforced Thermoplastics.

BMT is produced by combining natural bamboo fibers and PP fibers into a mat through  non-woven needle-punched process. The mat is then cured in an oven and compressed into panels. 

This material features light weight, high strength and moderate sound absorbtion. Natural bamboo fibers are renewable.

Basing on different requirements, the grammage of such material ranges from 1200g/m² to 3000g/m².

BMT is widely used in automotive interior and some exterior trims, including but not limited to roof liners, package tray, left/right side trim panels,  tailgate upper covers, and door inner panels.
